Exercise exceptional entrepreneurial and commercial thinking to effectively drive sales and overall store performance for the area
Identify new business opportunities and support development of new revamped and relocated stores in division
Develop a high performance team and culture focusing on ownership accountability and performance
Deliver targeted turnover and profit growth
Develop and manage annual operational budget and projections

Requirements
Matriculated preferably with a post matric qualification
Minimum of 3 years experience as an Area Manager in the apparel or footwear trade
Above average computer and POS experience
Excellent administration skills
Proven track record with stock losses
Able to perform stock takes
Product orientated with in depth product knowledge
Passion for retail
Able to handle CCMA cases and disciplinary hearings
Good recruitment skills
Experience at training staff
Sales orientated
Merchandise presentation skills
A trader at heart
