Our client a leading retail organisation in searching for an experienced retail planner for their Cape Town offices

Key Performance Areas
Influencing and implementing the relevant brands merchandise strategy
Financial and strategic management of the various products eg product planning controlling opentobuy reviewing weekly & monthly figures
Management of the range assortments and replenishment
Management and implementation of distribution strategy eg analysing stores profiles & sales trends developing promotional & range distribution by store & cluster
Communication with stores and field

Requirements
Minimum of 1 to 2 proven working years&rsquo experience as a Planner
Minimum 3 year Commerce Degree preferably in BCom/ Business Sciences
A high degree of numeracy and an analytical detailed and strategic approach to work
Computer literacy in MS Excel Word and Planning Systems
Strong business acumen and merchant thinking
Good organisational and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proven decision making ability
Strong affiliation to systems utilising them to increase productivity in line with the merchandise strategy

Salary Market related based on qualifications and experience
