Our client is searching for a Regional Financial Director to be based at their Johannesburg offices

Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure that all financial results forecasts and budgets produced for the region represent a true and fair view of the financial performance of the region
Ensure that all statutory reporting requirements are fulfilled within each country that operates in within the region
As a member of the senior regional management team will participate and contribute to all strategic plan development and risk management activities with particular emphasis on the management of all treasury and financial risks
Consolidation of all regional management and financial accounts into one regional set of consolidated results and forecasts
Be responsible for the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment BBBEE strategy and annual verification processes
Manage all relationships with banks taxation authorities and auditors and any other relevant statutory bodies as required
Management of Financial and Administrative overheads at regional level

Requirements
CA SA
Must have Bachelors degree in Accountancy or Finance and a recognised accounting qualification
Must have a minimum of 10 years of work experience in a director/ executive level portfolio within the engineering/ construction industry
Must have exposure to regional and African markets
Must be willing to travel locally and internationally
Financial and Management Accounting
Treasury and controller experience
Local/International bank knowledge
Analytical skills
IT experience
Proven financial and accounting skills
