Our client is searching for a Systems Engineer/ Laser Scanning Specialist who will be offered the chance to make a significant contribution to the technical support and development of highly acclaimed laser scanning solutions

Duties and responsibilities
Providing the best technical support to new and existing customers
Providing training on both our hardware and software solutions
Provide onsite installation services
Assisting the sales team in giving product demonstrations and at trade shows
Assisting the R&D team in the development of new products and solutions

Requirements
Knowledge of computer systems and how they interact with external hardware such as sensors GPS and other peripherals
Experience working with LiDAR processing software such as RiSCAN PRO Terrascan Orbit GIS
Knowledge of Surveying/Civil Engineering techniques and processes
Experience training/coaching/mentoring others
Project Management
Very high standard of written work technical report writing
The ability to learn new software skills with minimal formal instruction
Client facing skills
A scientific and mathematical mind
Travelling is essential to this job up to 70 percent of the time to varied locations globally
