STOCKROOM CONTROLLER
Description:Job Objective:Provide prompt and courteous service to customers in order to maximise sales and customer service, so as to promote the Company’s image of quality and professionalism.Status: Reports directly to the Store Manager and the Assistant Manager, works in close collaborationwith the Sales Supervisor, and the members of other resource departments. Represents an integral part of the store team and through his/her participation creates a healthy and pleasant atmosphere.Key Job Functions: Maximise sales and customer service, maintain stock rooms well organised,perform necessary housekeeping duties. Job Duties: Practice professional salesmanship within the guidelines of store policy and department procedures to achieve maximum sales and provide the highest level of customer satisfaction. Ship, receive and verify all merchandise according to Company policy and procedures.Maintain a neat and organised stockroom.Ensure that merchandise is properly ticketed and attractively displayed.Ensure that transfers & special orders are handled efficiently.Communicate stock replenishment needs to Store Manager.Develop and maintain product knowledge of merchandise.Is aware of, and implement store policies and procedures.Is responsible for adherence to all loss prevention policies, credit policies and procedures; i.e. credit cards, check approvals, discounts, return and exchange procedures.Conform to the Company dress code and present and image that are consistent with the Company standard.Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AS A STOCKROOM CONTROLLER
