Job - Floor Manager

High end fashion retailer is looking for a store manager of a very high calibre.

Must have experience as a store manager with a retail fashion/brand store

The above position has become available within the organisation.

Key purpose: -

Is to lead and manage the overall operational functions within the store environment and to ensure overall performance of the store is in line with shareholders expectations.

The incumbent's responsibilities will include the following:

Responsibility & accountability of the store
Key operational performance assessment
General administration
Manage shrinkage and control stock takes
POS process management
HR/IR management including procedures
Process improvement
Operational planning
Customer care incorporating the brand
Merchandising principles and marketing implementation
Operations policy & procedures
Ensure that sales and all expenses are in line with budgets
Ensure that stock indicators are inline with required company benchmarks
Staff costs
Store profit

Experience:-

Store retail operational management experience (5 years)

Above average knowledge of management principles
Planning, leadership and organising skills
Interpersonal and communication skills
Assertiveness and analytical thinker
Ability to train and develop employees
Ability to inspire employees

Reporting to the Area Manager

Must have a fashion Retail background

Salary is  R6000 to R10 000 CTC + incentives
